Welcome! We’re so thrilled you found our little studio!
I'm Teresa, owner and educator at Like Minds Studio. I have been teaching art to Primary and Preschool students for the better part of 13 years and am thrilled to be offering classes to our littlest to biggest artists!
I love to work with students interests and strengths to build an individual approach to art making, not just copying a pre-set project. My classes focus on building skill and exploring materials to develop each child's unique artistic voice.
Tiny Artists
Our Tiny Artists class is designed specifically for children aged 3-5, along with their accompanying parents or caregivers.
Our classes are structured around a weekly theme, which helps build connections, nurture fine motor skills and encourages your child's individual creativity to flourish, without all the mess at home!
Bring along your art smock! Younger siblings welcome.
Junior Artists
This one-hour art class for 6-9-year-olds teaches essential art skills, building creativity and confidence.
The class includes drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage projects, designed to help students learn new techniques and build upon their existing skills.
Experienced instructors provide guidance and encouragement, creating a supportive environment for the children to express themselves.
Big Artists
Weekly 75-minute art classes for children aged 10-12, designed to explore art fundamentals, develop skills, and foster creativity.
Students will learn about drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, with guidance from experienced instructors and high-quality materials.
The program aims to instill a lifelong love and appreciation for the arts whilst fine tuning artistic skills and ideas.
